Welcome!

Welcome, my name is Alex Dove. I am an author where I’ve been writing and honing my skills at the craft for more than a decade. My background is diverse. I’ve taught public school, been an adjunct professor at college, and currently hold a degree or two from several mid-western universities.

An idea came to me many years ago to create a children’s television company. It had a cast of to-be puppets, some hand-and-rod and others full-body costumes, and would run episodes on television and DVD. Our crew were skilled professionals, but when funding didn’t come through the bottom eventually fell out from under the company.

So, how does that get me in front of you? Great question. I decided to do something where my creativity and livelihood I didn’t explicitly rely on someone else’s discretion. I bundled up all my creative energy and funneled that into writing. I am an author of YA and adult suspense thrillers.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. To date, I have eighteen manuscripts which I am fastidiously editing. I’m putting on a coat of polish so that you can hold them in your hands and enjoy them as much as I did in creating them.

My work is not yet available to purchase. While I could self-publish several of the finished works already, I am searching for an agent to traditionally publish my books. I encourage you to check back soon as you’ll be the first to know when to buy. I’ll post availability right here on my site.
